Dethatching
Dethatching is a process necessary due to excessive thatch build-up. When thatch exceeds 3/4", it becomes
difficult for water, air and nutrients to penetrate the matting of dead grass plants. The excessive thatch layer
creates an environment ideal for disease and insects to breed and live, which ultimately causes the decline of
your lawn.  Average Cost $240.00

Aeration
extracting a plug of soil. By aerating your lawn you provide the following benefits to your lawn and its root
system: Oxygen gets to the roots and the soil allowing it to "breathe"  fertilizers and nutrients get access to the root system Water is able to better soak the soil and reach the root system Helps to break up thatch, Tight, compacted soil is loosened up allowing the root system to grow. Average Cost is $50.00 without core
Removal.  $100.00 with raking up and hauling cores away.

Lawn Renovation

Our process for a Lawn Renovation is as Follows:

Step 1:
We dethatch the lawn using our Fixed Blade Thatchers.  We cross thatch until the Blades groves aprox. 1/4 inch into the soil. Raking up and hauling away the thatch debri.

Step 2:
With our Core Aerator we will go over the Lawn several times to pull enough cores out of the lawn to provide soil on top of lawn for a seed bed.

Step 3:
We will then break up the cores from the aeration with our thatcher.  Then rake lightly to remove the thatch from the seed Bed.

Step 4:
We apply the grass seed to the lawn, and then rake the seed to mix within the seed bed.  Then we set the seed in place using a Lawn Roller.

Step 5:
We spread Peat Moss lightly over the area.  We use a specialized roller to spread the Peat Moss evenly over the area.

Step 6:
We apply fertilizer over the seeded area, and then water it in.

Average Cost  $500.00
